Be'A Competition in Tripoli Car Free Day

In an initiative led by Tripoli Youth Network and supported by Bank MED and Maurice Fadel Prize, a green car free day took place in the capital of the North Tripoli on a beautiful Sunday 14th of November. With governmental representation from the very top with His Excellency President Michel Suleiman, the event kicked off to a range of activities that included a mini marathon, in addition to several cultural and entertaining events that thrilled the participants who filled the Mina, a driveway that borders the port of Tripoli.

Never absent on such occasions, JCI Beirut was there, along with other NGO's that came to take part in this day. JCI Beirut promoted its new JCI Best Business Plan competition "Be'A Competition" to a public that ranged from kids to university students, grownups, media, and other NGO's.

"Be'A Competition is not just a competition to find the best green entrepreneur. It is a mission to create awareness along the way about the dangers that threaten our environment on a daily basis" said Roland Haddad, organizer of the Be'A Competition.

How will the Be'A competition take place?

If you have a business idea that falls within the definition of eco-entrepreneurship, then Be’A is the place for you. You are invited to participate in the competition by registering your details and giving us a brief description of that idea.

Your idea will be evaluated and you will receive a decision on your candidacy within a few days.

Should you be lucky to make it to the second round, you will be offered free extensive professional training seminars that will help you shape and develop your idea into a business plan.

A panel of renowned jurors will review the presented business plans and decide on the winners.

A closing ceremony will be held to announce the winners and present the prizes.
